Who We Are

Handsome Muay Thai was established in May 2019 in Norfolk, VA, where coach Jack had been teaching and fighting out of the renowned House of Muay Thai. Originally only planning to make T-shirts and Muay Thai shorts, while still coaching at The House, coach Jack go the opportunity to start running his own program in the back of a boxing gym. With the program growing, instead of expanding, coach Jack ended up moving to El Paso, TX in March of 2020, where after spending time coaching at several other gyms, he was able to re-open Handsome Muay Thai in Northeast El Paso in the summer of 2023.

In addition to striving to bring our students the absolute best instruction and support, we pride ourselves on having a positive, welcoming atmosphere and strong sense of community. Whether you are a complete beginner, recreational practitioner, or seasoned fighter, we want you to feel at home in our gym.

  • Jack Bedenbaugh

    CEO - FOUNDER - HEAD COACH

    Coach Jack is a seasoned martial artist with over 20 fights and 15+ years of experience. He's a dedicated Muay Thai practitioner who honed his skills while competing in MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu during college. Jack's passion for teaching was born from his competitive spirit, and he has a track record of coaching amateur MMA champions and Muay Thai champions. He played a pivotal role in the growth of The House of Muay Thai and now offers his expertise in El Paso, TX, where he continues to train and teach.   • Brandon “2 EZ” Sweat

    Brandon is an amatuer champion Muay Thai fighter who has been with Coach Jack since his first Muay Thai Fight. Currently he is 6-1 and he is the Rage in The Cage Amatuer Southwest champion, and Regional Champion. He fights for a national Championship in Phoenix, AZ on August 26!

  • Chris "The Enigma" Pecero

    Chris has been a professional mixed martial artist since 2010. He is a Texas legend and has competed against some of the best in the business including several former UFC fighters. He is the former XKO featherweight champion and currently competes at lightweight & welterweight.
